Summary:
Day-to-day payroll functions
Qualifications:
High School Diploma One to two years previous experience in payroll preferred Knowledge of financial documents and data entry Ability to read, write and comprehend English and follow oral and written instructions Over 21 years of age Ability to use office machines and computer Able to deal tactfully with people, both in person and over the phone Working Conditions and Principal Contacts:
Primarily inside well-lighted office.
Is subject to frequent interruptions.
Travel is minimal.
Communicates with other department personnel and supervisors.
Willing to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
Physical and Sensory Requirements (with or without aid of mechanical devices):
Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to insure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
Must function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel and support agencies Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
Must be able to lift, push, pull and move a minimum of 30 pounds Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours.
Responsibilities/Accountability for:
Payrolls are processed in a timely manner and are maintained per policy.
Ensure payments for Garnishments and Child Support are accurate and made in a timely manner Run Payroll Reports Assist facility PBCs as needed Conducts self in a professional manner.
Maintain safe and clean environment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
